Future Cruise Options

Many thanks to all you well travelled HAL passengers on the info for the future cruise credits (FCCs). Yes, Princess has had this program for a while and they are listed under your Captain Circle webpage when you logon to their website. I am certainly glad to hear that HAL is going to have the same program available.

 

As for future sailings, we are considering the transatlantic of the Maasdam for next summer. Great schedule with wonderful ports! Anyone gone on this one?

We have some regular posters here on this Board who have taken that cruise and rave about it. They had a fabulous time and Maasdam is a beautiful ship with a great crew. That's a terrific cruise IMO

We did not get a free bottle of wine sent to the table like we got several years ago when we booked while on a cruise. We just got the "Thank you" note.

 

We will probably make future booking(s) while aboard Maasdam. Let you know when we get back about FCC who is aboard when we are there.

Agree with Lisa about HAL's cruise consultants do talk about transfering the booked cruises to your own TA.

 

And I also agree that their commission is based on the number of sales they make while on the ship. Our girl let at the end of the first cruise and a man came on in her place for the second cruise. He sat at our table at the Mariner's lunch and did not try to talk anyone into booking a future cruise.

Thanks for the information on the "FCO". We may look in to it for possible 2008 cruises on our May Alaska sailing.

It's definitely worth looking into it. Let us know what you decided to do when you get home from Alaska.
