Transportation to YVR...early flight

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

The cabbie told me we made it in 10 minutes. I didn't check the arrival time myself. I do know that it was very fast!!! My flight wasn't until 8:10am, so I had a wait before my flight. YVR was so easy to navigate and everyone there was friendly. It's better to have time to spare than run short on time. My flight was on Mother's Day, so I figured there might be some problems. I figured wrong!:D I do love Vancouver!!!!:)

Under no circumstances take the Airporter Bus. Last year we stayed at the Sutton Place and had free transfers provided by RCCL. This was our 4th Alaska cruise so we know Vancouver pretty well. It's about 20-25 minutes to Sutton Place by taxi. The Airporter took over 90 minutes!!

First we had to wait 15 minutes for the bus to arrive.

Once we started, they have a set route and stop at every hotel on the way. They even make pickups on the way. Once we passed the hotel but were on the wrong side of the street so the driver would not stop.

Spend a few more dollars and take a taxi.
