No mini's on Royal??

Please forgive me if this has already been brought up......any one know what the reasoning is for no mini's? It seems a BIG jump from balcony to OS???

I don't know but my guess is that they would have had to do some major structural renovations to create minis. I think they turned the ship around from the Minerva II to the Royal in about two weeks so the changes were mostly cosmetic but I really don't remember the changes they made.

Not trying to pick a fight, just wondering. Why can they have them on the Pacific & Tahitian but not the Royal?

All theR-class ships that we were on, the 8th deck was all (then) suites, that converted to mini's(classification) on Princess??????

I am so excited to be on an "R" ship. I think they started the whole balcony craze that has taken over all the cruise lines.

She is very beautiful. I loved the Regal. But, the Royal may be better. I am hoping for a back to back to back on her next summer.

The balcony room is almost set up as a mini as per their diagram. Main difference is that you only get one TV and no bath tub.
