Barcelona / Gran Hotel Torre Catalunya

Am a little bit confused by the lack of opinions on this hotel on Cruise Critic (NO, I am not there Public Relations Manager...) Trip Advisor has this hotel listed as #9 out of 460 for Popularity Index yet it is rarely mentioned or used by people on this board. Am I missing something?

 

Icaria Hotel Barcelona is another interesting hotel that is rarely discussed on this board.

 

Anyone have any experience with either of these two hotels?

Have not stayed at this hotel, but am planning to stay there pre-cruise in August. A friend stayed there last year post-cruise and highly recommended it. Said the view from the rooftop restaurant is beautiful. I, too, have been searching for other comments or reviews at this site and am confused why there are none.
