DH and I are planning a cruise for December and need help. He thinks that in 1102 you'll feel lots of vibration from the screws and that you will only have a view from the back of the ship. He just told me it's the stern!! Can't take the sailor out of the man! Anyway I'd much appreciate any and all input that you can give as this cruise is very special to us . thanks for all your help. I find these threads invaluable. We have never been in a JS as this will only be our 3rd cruise so again all help is appreciated.:)

Having sailed the aft a few times i can safely say that you will not feel the vibrations from the screws.

As for seeing only whats behind you-- priceless.

but if you take a side balcony you will only see whats there.

The aft balconies are bigger then whats offered on the side ones so you get more or your money.

but 1102 of the Jewel is a regular D1 cabin not a Jr Suite

9344 is more centrally located by elevators/stairs--less walking and IS a Junior suite.

Personally- i would be taking that aft one.. more quiet- bigger balcony.

awesome views.
