plantlady095 Posted May 10, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2007 We will be driving to Seward early on May 29 and are wondering if anyone knows of a place for breakfast enroute? Our bodies will still be on Central Daylight Time, so we will be up early and thought we could go ahead and hit the road. Along those lines, if you know of a place for coffee in the evening, we will be returning to Anchorage around eight in the evening, using the same route - please share that info, too. Thanks in advance!:)
Chenega Posted May 10, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2007 You could try the Bake Shop in Girdwood, the Alyeska Prince Hotel, or (if you can wait a little while longer) the Summit Lake Lodge.
Budget Queen Posted May 10, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2007 Not sure if the Indian House serves breakfast??? But if you get farther, you can make a detour on the Sterling and stop at Gwins, in Cooper Landing. Always a meal stop at some point for me. :)
plantlady095 Posted May 11, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted May 11, 2007 Many thanks! Both posts sound swell. I have heard of these establishments, but feel even better getting info from someone with recent experience. My TA raved about Summit Lake Resort. I will keep you posted on what we end up doing after our return. Can hardly wait!
