Ward Lake and Perseverance trail???'s

DH and I plan on renting a car on one of our two days in Ketchikan.(We are doing back to back cruises.) What can you tell me about hiking either of these places? Are they pretty easy trails to hike? We are not strong hikers. [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img] We can walk a few miles with no problem...we're just not in good enough shape to do strenous hiking.(not alot of up and down hills!)
Are these places easy to find?
Are there any other easy hiking trails with nice views?

Ward Lake is fairly easy, Preseverance requires more fitness- longer and some hills. There is also Deer Mt. trail. Request the Ketchikan visitor guide [url="http://www.visit-ketchikan.com"]www.visit-ketchikan.com[/url] map is in the book.
