Does anyone know of a good company to go thru for dog sledding in sept? I contacted Orca Enterprises, but the people they use are not going to be operating in Sept.

I contacted many companies and there are no dog sledding on the glacier available in September. We have opted to take a tour with Idaride (Seaveys) in Seward. It's a wheeled dog sled ride. We will be able to play with the puppies. It's not quite the same - but since we can't change our cruise dates it will have to do.

FYI** The Seaveys mentioned on the post earlier won the Iditrod this year. Would you believe I met a friend of theirs today in my home town of Burnet Texas!!! It really is a small world. icon_smile.gif
