Alaska Fly and Fish Charters?\ with Butch Laughlin

Has anyone heard of or used this company? I am still debating between helicopter and floatplane, mainly because I am afraid of the helicopter landing after reading some posts here and elsewhere. Maybe floatplanes are just as dangerous? Does anyone know this pilot? Thank you.

Is this out of Juneau and do they go to Pack Creek?? If so, I know of 2 people who used the company with no problems. Not sure what pilot they had??? Perhaps see how long they have been in business and their safety records??

This is out of Juneau and I believe they go to Pack Creek. They do lots of fishing flights. However, the flight I'm interested in is a Tracy Arm flightseeing tour for 1 1/2 hours. He said they will try also to land on water, so we can have that experience.

I believe the only pilot is the owner, Butch Laughlin and they have been flying out of Juneau since 1991.

I tried to do a google search on this company, but nothing came bacc, but a recommendation in Frommers. I will try again. Thank you.
