Donna42 Posted August 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2004 I am understanding that Cozumel is CST, right? So our ship Rapsody of the Seas/Royal Caribbean get into Coz at 9:00 am and our excursion leaves at 9:00 am on the Atlantis Submarine. How does this work? Is the ship on CST also when we dock? Will the Submarine people be waiting outside the ship with a sign to retrieve us? Help! Donna (first time cruiser)
98Charlie Posted August 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2004 If you booked the excursion through the cruise lines you will be told when and where to meet for the excursion. On the ships we have been on they meet onboard and leave as a group. If the ship is late - no problem. If you booked directly with the tour operator, they generally do not get paid until you get to the excursion. They want your business and will be waiting for you. They know that ships may be late so again - no problem. Enjoy the Atlantis :)
Riviera Deck Randy Posted August 11, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2004 The answer to your question is yes the Rhapsody will be on CST since it is homeported in Galveston which is in Texas which is on CST so all your times includeing Key West and Grand Cayman will be in CST.so if the say all abord in Key west is midnight thats midnight Texas time not Key West time. If you cruise from Miami or anywhere in Florida you will stay on that time the entire cruise which means when you hit Cozumel you are still on Miami time not CST.
