Embarking in Miami

Recommended Posts

Left from Miami a week ago on the Valor. We got to the port about 11:30am and the line was huge... we thought "wow! we'll be here for about 2 hours", but they were checking our documents in about 20 min, so I guess it wasn't soooo bad. Don't get scared when you see the long line, it moves really fast. Not even 2 min each person. Then you have to walk for about 5 to 10 min, take 1 or 2 stairs until you get to the bridge which connects the ship to the terminal and there starts another line, where they give you your room key and then another person checks your documents... after that, you're in the lobby as a wink! we enjoy every part of cruising, even the embarkation.... that's when it all begins
