A really interesting city. When you arrive in the Port it looks very industrial but when you walk 10 mins into town, you turn a corner and come across a beautiful city.

There were students in the centre of the town who offered walking tours - can't remember how much they were, but recall it didn't seem that much.

As of Mid May 2008, the walking tours were 20 Euro.

The TI has wonderful walking maps which is located in Peristil Square.

Split has a great City Museum and Ethnographic Museum
