SoccerMom#3 Posted August 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2004 Maybe I'm just anxious but I emailed my PVP yesterday morning about prices for Glory and Valor for next summer and still haven't heard anything. Am I just being impatient or should I have heard something by now. I really haven't worked with this PVP since we booked our last cruise thru Costco so I don't have any experience with her. Anyone have a PVP they can recommend? (Is that allowed?) Thanks, Elise
tef43 Posted August 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2004 (Is that allowed?)Nope. Can't do it. Wouldn't be prudent. I have *never* gotten a satsifactory response when emailing my PVP. I get much better results when calling on the phone.
kiberkid Posted August 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2004 My PVP anwsers right away. Maybe yours is on days off or on holidays. I wonder where a cruise line employee would go for holidays??? Camping maybe? :D lol
Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted August 12, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2004 Whenever I CALL my PVP with an issue or question, if they do not answer I will just call 1-800-CARNIVA and speak to another... and if you do not like what they say (or can or can't do), then call back and speak to another... PVP Roulette! When I have tried e-mailing people at Carnival, it takes a couple of days to get a response. Tom
SallyMay Posted August 12, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2004 When I have a question I always call mine. Actually was asked to call not email. If I get a recording, I leave a message and have a return call within a short time. I have a wonderful PVP but not allowed to give out names. Keep trying - you'll find one you like.:p
GoinCruisin Posted August 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2004 My PVP told me that it was always better to call her.... she said it is much easier to get in touch with her that way. You should try calling... emails somehow loses the sense of urgency. good luck.
Snowball Posted August 12, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2004 If you are thinking of sailing the Valor next summer, you should check out our Valor Voyager cruise critic group that will be sailing her on 6/12/05 - Western Caribbean itinerary. I'm not sure if that is too early for you, but I wanted to let you know of the group's existence in case you were interested. For more information (pricing, amenities, etc), just click on the link in my signature, and feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. Plus if you book by 8/27 you can put down an initial deposit of just $25 per person. :)
SoccerMom#3 Posted August 13, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted August 13, 2004 Thanks everyone for the advice. I called my PVP and left a message. Within an hour another PVP called and said my PVP was on a cruise. The PVP who called was able to help me which was great. Now I just need to decide when I want to go (and find the money:) ) Elise
