PhoenixCruiser Posted June 2, 2007 #26 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Would now be a bad time to ask what Royal Caribbean's smoking policy aboard ship is? FWIW, I am not being sarcastic. What would you like to know? :) Smoking is allowed in all cabins, some bars, outside (on the smoking side) and in the casino. Smoking is not allowed in the dining rooms, specialty restaurants, Windjammer, some bars, and the show areas. ###

glgolfer Posted June 2, 2007 #30 Share Posted June 2, 2007 I'm an Xsmoker. The only place I ever smell smoke on an RCCL ship is in the Schooner bar and the casino. I'm generally much more bothered by perfume than smoke.
anniebj90290 Posted June 2, 2007 Author #31 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Apology accepted, Don. Have a nice evening. Ann p.s. I just noticed that we are practically neighbors (assuming that Canoga Park is the one in California). I'm just over the hill off Topanga Cyn. So YOU are the guy who I have to roll up my car windows for when I'm stuck behind you! (JOKING, JOKING, PLEASE, NO MORE....)

DON M. Posted June 2, 2007 #34 Share Posted June 2, 2007 By the way Ann, you stated you are on Deck 3 directly above the casino. The casino is on deck 4.

aqhacruiser Posted June 2, 2007 #37 Share Posted June 2, 2007 I would not think the smell of smoke could get into the OP's cabin from the casino but by all means call RCCL and ask. Not meaning to be sarcastic but as it's new, many people are not aware yet that RCCL now offers two NON smoker friendly ships with their Azamara cruiseline so non smokers now do have a choice of two ships. See Azamara on the CC main board for cruiselines. :)
DC2OC Posted June 2, 2007 #38 Share Posted June 2, 2007 I didn't find The Legend to be a smoking Mecca. Most area are smoke free and a non-smoker should not have a problem unless they have a balcony with a cigar smoker on the next balcony but thats a chance I guess you take until they make smoking,non-smoking side as far as cabins go which I'm sure is coming. While Azamara is exciting it's not an option for all as they are trying to be upscale with upscale pricing...............Frank:)
