What are you paying for your cruise?

I paid $535 for cat 6b on the Triumph 9/15/2007, plus $240 for r/t air from Seattle!

You did really good!!! My roomie on a cruise I took in January came in from Seattle and she paid less than I did from Dallas to Ft. Lauderdale. I paid about $300 for my flight. Im going to feel bad lol. Maybe I should move to a cheaper city to fly out of.

I am paying half what I paid last July on the Holiday for a larger ship and a 4 level upgrade.

It would have been much more productive if the OP had just asked if they were getting a good deal on the Ship/Category and date of sailing. All of this "value added" stuff is not contributing to the post. If you do not like certain posters responses; block them, but you may miss valuable info in the future. Tommboy, I'm not bashing your comments, just putting in my 2¢. But I digress.

Knowledge is power and this board as well as others are a wealth of information. Had I known a year ago what I know now I could have saved over $600 and had as much fun. But the DW and I still had more fun than we had ever had together.

We booked the Valor IS for 6 people, 2 rooms for a grand total of @2700. Just this week I booked the roundtrip non-stop airfare from Columbus to FLL for a grand total of 240 total for all 6 people! Yes, I lucked into the skybus $10 tickets on the second flights just added to FLL due to popularity of the first. I was hoping to not pay 240 a person - I am still smiling from ear to ear to pay 40.04 a person round trip.:) :)

Sailing 11/18/07 Thanksgiving on Destiny 3 in room $2404.00 total cat. 8e Gty.

Flight to San Juan from Detroit $218.00 + Tax round trip x 3

I don't care if I got the best price. it is what I was willing to pay for the room or leval that I wanted. I prefer to be on the top floors and in a belcony.

We're booked military rate 4A on the Freedom 1-12-08 sailing $525 per person. I'm hoping the rates drop so we can get upgraded or a lower rate. We did pick our rooms and have the middle of the ship so at least we won't hear deck chairs, dance music, or the ship moving. LOL

We paid $239 for me and DH and $149 for DS for our cruise this September on Sensation. Oceanview/Empress Desk. While it is an older ship and only 4 nights I fill we got a great deal. It leaves plenty of money/time to spend in Orlando on the parks.

I booked my-inlaws in a 5A/Empress deck and their price is $199 pp for our cruise.

On a cruise ship, you can lay flat on our back, fully stretched out relaxing up on Lido deck. But on a Plane flying coach for 6 to 7 hours, they have call a porter to pry you out of your seat due to you being stuck in that position all crampped up with no blood circulating down to your toes. I want to be well rested when I arrive to Miami because that first night we are going to either Bongos or Bayside Market to party and start our vacation. Thats why we booked first class.

Sounds like fun. Hope you have a ball. I love to fly, but have to admit with some of the flights I wind up with my knees pressed into the seat in front of me and cant pick up my purse from the floor hardly, and Im only 5 7, I do wonder how men deal with longer legs than mine.

Will not be alone ,its amazing how you hook up with people from the roll calls. I was on the Spirit a 12 day Hawaiian cruise picked it up for 808 solo and that was with taxes. I booked about 7 weeks before sail date paid about half of what others paid and even those sharing a room.(same category as mine)

I hooked up with people from my roll call and was never alone unless I wanted to be. I t was great and certainly gave me the confidence to travel solo. I think because I hooked up with people on the roll call it turned out to be one of the best cruises ever. I will always make sure I meet the people on the roll calls and plan excersions in advance with some and this will be either solo or travelling with friends.
