Who has done an U B Dining in Alaska?

I'm curious to hear of people's experiences with Ultimate Balcony Dining in Alaska. We're going end of July and I think this would be a great gift for my parents' anniversary. Just wondering what others have experienced regarding wind and weather. Any evening better than another for scheduling it? (Eg., while in port or while sailing?)

We have done it numerous times in the Caribbean, and could have done it onthe Coral after leaving Ketchikan in late July early August. Weather was perfect.

 

If you book it book it early as possible to leave room for an alternate date in case the weather does not cooperate. :)

Sounds like a really nice idea, but I myself wouldn't be able to eat fast enough for the food to remain hot on a ship OUTSIDE in Alaska. Having said that, I'm sure they would be happy to set up the table INSIDE if the weather was not cooperating. They still would have a beautiful view - and stay warm and cozy!

Iffy at best. Take it day by day. I would think if the weather permits, the beauty and the ultimate breakfast could become one.
