Carnival Spirit to Alaska Question

Hi, my husband and I are cruising to Alaska come September. This will be our 1st cruise (married 14 years) and are really excited. My question is this...i understand you can buy bar tickets from Carnival web site (19.50 for 4 tickets)....what kind of drinks are these tickets good for? All drinks on the menu? Does anyone buy these, I know the tip is included in the ticket, or do you just pay whatever when you get on the ship. Thanks.

There is a limit on the drink price that you can get for each coupon, I think its $4.50 per ticket, so you really don't save anything by using them. These coupons were designed as bon voyage gifts to be given by a non-traveler.

 

For your own drinks--its easier to just charge it to your room card once onboard. No worries about losing the coupons or remembering to bring them along to the pool or the show lounge.
