The Days Inn in Webster is probably the better of the two. It has inside hallways and an inside pool. My sister stayed there last summer. I saw the room and it was pretty nice. It had a micro/fridge and a couch. There are eating places near to each one. The Dickinson Days Inn is about 4 miles further south than the one in Webster.

There are motels from every chain located along I45 south of Houston. My area, NASA/Clear Lake, has numerous motels in good areas just off I45. The addresses should be on Bay Area Blvd.; on Texas Avenue in Webster, Texas; or on NASA Parkway/NASA Road #1. There are also several chain motels off I45 at Lowery Expressway in Texas City that are very convenient, as well as additional places in League City and Dickinson. Any of those would be near I45 and in okay areas.
