Misha,

Funny you should ask this question, my wife and I just had dinner ther this evening. We are going on a cruise on Century on Sept. 18 and the people from our connection thread are thinking of goin there the night before the cruise. the name of the restaurant is:

Bravo Ristorante

1515 S.E. 17th Street

Ft. Lauderdale Fl 33316

954-523-9441

Hope this helps.

I live here and I am also 100% Italian. Try Kitchenetta on US 1, just south of Oakland Park Blvd (across from the big Harley-Davidson place) . It may be a 5 minute cab ride, but well worth the cab fare. I have not had food like this since visiting Italy.

Thank you all for the additional suggestions. We are staying at the Renaissance the night before our cruise and wanted something nearby but if we are feeling adventurous, (and not too pooped from the travel) we may explore a little further.
