All Things Enchantment of the Seas

Where is your favorite to be for sailaway? Usually we spend it on our balcony. But this time we've book a inside cabin. So now we need suggestions.

Some place with a nice view, inside or outside. A frozen drink in my hand. Leaving my everyday life behind for a week... Paradise!

Last year - we were on one of the walkways near the pool.. the bridge-y looking suspension thing. Drink was in hand, of course! We had an inside room.. so.. we had to watch from the cheap seats.. hehe! It was fun watching us leave.. in a big line with all the other ships.. *siiiiiiiiigh*.... :D

Kathy,

We have so much going on in August, or I would have booked for that month. I think Paul Rutter will still be on the ship as CD when you cruise unless his plans have changed. He happens to be my favorite.

I am hoping he will still be on board on Sept 20. He said he'd be on in Aug. and Sept. but that doesn't necessarily mean the entire month of Sept. Will you ask him for me, assuming he's on board when you are and that you even get a chance to ask, what the date is that he will be disembarking again?

Thanks.

I sure will..........

On all the Radiance Class ships there is, and we were just on the Mariner - She also had, the HeliPort in the Bow of the ship. You can go down to deck 4, then up some narrow passage and go out onto the Bow. This isn't a very high lookout, but we always LOVE to be right up in the point (kinda' like the Titanic Movie) when we leave port. Sometimes you can see Porpoises playing in front of the ship.

Now my question is, does the Enchantment have such an area; and if She does, can you get to it?????

Are you the King of the World?? :D

I think it was earlier on this thread, I had mentioned how I was on an upper outer deck in front of the ship for sailaway, and the ship's horn blew!! HOLY CRAP I have never heard anything that loud in my entire life!!!! Almost gave some older dude a heart attack! So just BEWARE if you are indeed in front of the horn. (Up near the bungee trampoline) :p

Jumping on the bandwagon. Party of 6 girls off to celebrate my DD's 15th B-Day, sailing on 7/26. 3 Inside cabins...I have only sailed in an inside cabin once on the Disney Cruise LIne. I am hoping we'll be so busy, I won't miss my balcony.

Please tell me the Enchantment has the soft serve ice cream by the pool......

??????

It does! :D But not right next to the pool like the bigger class ships do. It's to the right behind the pool bar. There's also a drink station there with lemonade and iced tea too! Oh and also coffee...how could I forget? :D

Jumping on the bandwagon here! We are leaving on the Enchantment in 29 days and we are very excited. This is our first time on a larger ship ( have only sailed the Empress) and would like to hear from past Enchantment cruisers. What's the good, the bad and the ugly? ;) What is there that is not to miss on board? Please share your experiences on the Enchantment!

I was on the Enchantment a few years ago and it was, by far, my best cruise experience. Mom and I are going back in September and I'm thrilled to see the changes since she was stretched last year.

Cabins are definitely larger than Empress (I've been on an inside on both ships) and i think the general ship layout is great. I never felt "lost" or like we were missing things, but there was always something to do and everything was very easy to get to.

Enjoy!!

My favorite ship thus far.

Why...glass, glass and more glass. Chops and the waiters in Chops, the staff, the rooms, the Atrium, Boleros, the casino entrance floor, The elegance of the My Fair Lady Dinning Room, the spa staff, the spa itself. The smiles, the people make you feel like you are special, the new bedding and last but by no means least the C/A Lounge.

Just check how many times she is booked by me and know that I just got off and will probably book two more cruises on here in the near future.

Got the new Crown & Anchor coupons in the mail yesterday. There's one in there for 5/3 on Enchantment. Makes a nice birthday present don't you think?:p

I couldn't agree more!

I am surprising DH with this cruise for his 40th in April and happen to be on board for my Birthday!!! :D

I'm another Enchantment fan :) We just booked for July '08. One question- when I was on the ship in April they were having problems with the solarium roof . Anyone on the ship recently experience the same problem?

I just returned from a 5 day cruise on the Enchantment Monday. This was my second time on the ship and I am definitely an Enchantment groupie. I love this ship. The pizza joint is the best that I've had on any other ship.

We are going 8/13 and were trying to get a copy of the cruise compass for the Cozumel day. (We are trying to pick a night for Chops, but didn't want to miss the commedian or Quest.) Were your stops Key West, Cozumel and Cococay? If you have the Compass or the evening times for the shows,I'd love it. You can e-mail it to Noelle0120@cox.net Many thanks!!!
