advocado Posted June 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2007 National Geographic Magazine (July issue) has an article about the Tongass National Forest. Included is a two page spread of Ketchikan dockside with the Ryndam prominently in view. For those of you with plans for Alaska, it's an interesting read with some great photos. mugwump Posted June 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2007 It was a pleasant surprise to find that issue sitting in my mailbox yesterday. I've been trying to explain to my two boys that we aren't going to Arctic Circle Alaska and the pictures in the article really helped to illustrate what the panhandle area looks like.
