Just how much room is under the bed??

Will the under bed area hold a large suitcase that is rather deep???

It depends. My parents both had the large size suitcases and they didn't fit so we put them at the foot of the bed in the corner But mine which was the medium size fit:)

we fit 6 under the bed, we used the large ones to nest the smaller ones, had no problems with fitting under the beds, on on each side

Thanks for the info. We usually put smaller suitcases in the larger ones for stoarge also. We have only taken one other cruise and I can't remember what we did with the suitcases.

If you find your suitcase is too deep to fit under the bed just open it up and slide it under. You can still stack other items in each side of the opened luggage.:cool:

We were able to put a total of 3 of our 29" rolling suitcases and a rolling garment bag under the 2 twin beds (2 suitcases under one and 1 suitcase and the garment bag under the other) with no problem. The secret is that you have to slip them in from the sides of the bed, otherwise the bed legs are in the way if you try to do it from the end of the bed, once you have them under from the side just turn them straight, they fit end to end with no problems.

Been on a few ships where I don't think you'd want to do that. Never know what's down there until you start pushing luggage back and forth and discover what comes with it. Sometimes it's a bit more than dust bunnies.:)

yes, for our largest suitcase I liftedthe bed up little and then slid it under.
