Ship in Geiranger today?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what ship is in Geiranger, Norway today (6/23)? She's a rather large ship, but the Cruise Ship Calendar website isn't showing anything as being in port today.

Also, does anybody know what the small white things on the land just behind where the ship is anchored are? They didn't used to be there...

Can't identify the ship - sorry, not enough of a ship nut to do that.

But I suspect that the white dots are tents. Mostly by the fact that there are fewer of them there now than there were when you posted your picture three hours ago!

As previous poster indicated, white dots are likely tents or caravans (= trailers in North Americanese) - the area you see is a campground.

This is a link to the list of cruise ships visiting Geiranger this year

http://www.geirangerfjord.no/norsk%20versjon/fjordservice/fjordservice_cruiseskipliste.html

If it doesn't come up for you, go to http://www.geirangerfjorden.net/

-> select your language

-> select Cruise Ships from menu on left side

-> scroll down left side and you'll see "Cruise Ships Geiranger Summer 2007"

Hi all

the ship on the foto is Costa Atlantica, because of the funnel and it's the only ship in the northern europe that look like that.

click on the link below, and Scrool down to picture no. 2 hope that helps:p :p :p :) :D

Someone on another board captured a photo of Costa Atlantica at Geiranger yesterday. Her presence was a surprise to him, too.

Go to this page and scroll down to the last post (and indeed photo) on that page.
