Surcharge for Shipshape?

Recommended Posts

Is there a fee / surcharge to use the equipment in the Shipshape fitness center? By equipment i mean the treadmill, bike, cardio equipment, etc. I know it's supposed to be a vacation but I just can't give up my 6 days a week gym routine.

The gyms on board are fairly nice too. Decent equipment, good variety, and wonderful ocean views as you work out. Most people on board just veg out and don't hit the gym, so often it is not too crowded. I always enjoy a couple of work out at the gym while cruising. Also very fun jogging outside around the deck, but best to do that at odd times or else can be frustrating ducking and darting around everyone.

There are (currently) no fees for aerobics, step, and some toning classes. Pilates, yoga and spinning are for a fee. Yes, the gyms on Voyager and Radiance class ships are very nice indeed. On Voyager class, the largest hot tub on the ship is right inside the gym. Also, there is a steam and sauna inside each of the locker rooms. No charge.
