How to get from Miami Airport to Port Everglades?

My wife and I need to get from Miami airport to the port in Fort Lauderdale. Can anyone recommend the most convenient way to get to the port. Can anyone recommend a car service or is there a better way to go? Any information will be helpful.

We did the same trip and we used Larry's Limo (suggested here on the CC boards). They were reliable, on time and communicated well.
