Mariner - Interior Room, 4 person set-up

We've booked our cruise - yay! But, it's not till June 08 - boo!

 

We booked a interior room, Category L - for myself, DH, DS3 & DS6. I understand that there will be pullman-type beds on top.

 

My question is that if the two pullman beds are used - can you still push the two twins on the bottom together to make a double/queen?

 

The boys would LOVE to sleep on the upper bunks but I'm worried they may roll-off, which could be offset if they roll off and land on myself & DH???

Yes, you can still push the twins together. You can also ask your steward for bars for the pullman beds so that they don't roll out. Have fun on your cruise.

Actually, I don't believe that you can. We were just on the Mariner, June 3 - 10 & one couple traveling with us had that same room. Their two children slept on the top bunks, and were told by the stateroom attendant that the twins below could NOT be put together.

Isn't there also an age restriction on who is allowed in the pullmans to begin with?

The beds can be pushed together, however if the bunks are being used above, it makes making the beds up very hard for your steward.;)

We had the exact same setup on the Mariner in October. We had 2 children up top, and th beds pushed together on the bottom. Have fun!
