Must be a really clear day in Alaska because you can almost see it from the Anchorage cam too --

wow, that is amazing!!

I have some great shots of it from Princess McKinley two days in a row, but I would have loved a shot without all the trees in front.

It was that way for about 18 hours straight the end of June last year. I am hoping it will be similar next week Tuesday through Thursday when I am there :)

It's so beautiful - and we were so lucky that we had a day just like this when we were there a couple of weeks ago! We considered ourselves blessed!

 

We were there same week you were I guess since we were on Sapphire June 9... we booked spur of moment flightseeing near Talkeetna and have spectacular pics of Denali although we didn't see in the park which was foggy.. Then we spent night at McKinley Princess lodge and enjoyed drinks on that huge balcony all evening with that amazing view.. We feel very fortunate to have had this weather luck esp. DH who has never been to Alaska
