Connie casino cash

I heard it was possible to get up to $2,000 per day from the casino and it will be charged to your stateroom without a service charge? Is this true? Do you just show your sea-pass at the casino and tell them how much you want and they hand over the cash after you sign for it?

Thanks

Yes, it true. As long as the credit card you're using for your Sea Pass account, has enough credit on it...then you can get "cash advances", with a charge to your card. Nifty, for those that want to take advance of this...

Best part is it is not treated as a cash advance, all monies taken are turned in at the end of the week by Celebrity with the rest of your purchases as a purchase on board ship. Great way to pick up miles or whatever incentives you might have on your card....

It's also a great way to get the cash at the end of the cruise to fill the various tip envelopes in the denominations you desire. I also retrieved extra envelopes from Guest Services and used the card at the casino to get more cash for the various staff members not included in the normal end-of-cruise tipping process like favorite bartenders, bar waiters in lounges, bar attendants by the pool (oops, see a pattern here? ). LOL! I know it's possible to sign for a little extra on the bill when being served, which we do, but for those who stand out for going above and beyond, it's nice to say good-bye at the end of the cruise and hand them a little something extra in person as a thank-you........:D

we did this everyday on infinity and they never charged us extra fees or anything for doing it ,, compared to the 5.00$ + fee for using their atm

this was the way to go ,

and the limit was 2000...

take care

Hi, We just got off of he Galaxy with a big group, and one or two of our group were "high rollers". The casino manager let them pull more than 2000 a day from their seapass card attached to their credit card. I'm pretty sure, that at least some of the money stayed on the ship!

Take care,

k.k.

Thanks everyone. I don't use ATM's overseas because my bank charges and arm and a leg. I was trying to figure out a way to pay Alla for my St Pete tour without taking all that cash with me.
