Neets Bay Bear Cruise in Ketchikan

Has anyone done this tour Neets Bay Bear Cruise Excursion? We will be in Ketchikan on Aug 1st, we hoping to see bear and was wondering it this would be a good tour on water to see bears. Thanks suemoon.

I just read your last two posts. We are sailing to Akaska on Carnival Spirit on July 18. We have booked the Taku Glacier Lodge Flights & Feast in Juneau and the Neet's Bay Bear Watch Expedition in Ketchikan. From what I've read, these are two of the best excursions and they only allow a small group of 30-45 at a time. I can't wait. :)

We took the Alaska Seaplane Tours bear excursion. It was the highlite of our cruise. You fly into the national forest, you then land wait and watch the bears. Just a fantastic time

I have been to Neets Bay, which is a fly in. Great tour, now ship contracted with Pro Mech. But this is early for that location. Anan would definately be my choice for 8-01.
