Len3 Posted July 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2007 As the train schedule hasn't been posted for October, does anyone know how often these run from Gatiwck to Southampton and reverse? Do we need a reservation or can we just hop on after we clear customs, collect our luggage, etc.? Also, where can we find the right train at Gatwick? Thanks for your help. handfordr Posted July 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2007 Timetables are available for October at the Southern Trains website, the train operator. Southern Railways Non-stop trains leave Gatwick hourly at 49 minutes past the hour to Southampton, Monday to Saturday. Sundays you have to travel indirect via Clapham Junction. You do not need a reservation. The station is in the south terminal at Gatwick. There is a large ticket hall and the trains are well signposted with relevant platform numbers. There is a free monorail every few minutes from the North terminal to South Terminal.
