Greece In May ?

Looking to do a cruise around the Greek islands and wondered if anyone has done this in late April or May? Somewhere I read that March and April might have a lot of rain - guess that's why the price is lower then. Appreciate any suggestions. Willard

Although a Greek Island Cruise is no river cruise at all I´d say go for May. Mid-May, Sep, early Oct are the best months for Greece. June, July, Aug can be veeery hot and few air condition.

I think that the school calendar influences costs MORE than the weather in this case. Most educators and folks with school age children cannot escape much before June 1st. Steamboat is correct weather in July/Aug can be to steamy.

We're going in November 2008. It's a Med cruise on RCCL focusing on Greece & Turkey among other ports. That's a good time to go weatherwise.
