lmlt Posted July 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2007 What is the weight allowed for baggage on Air France?
Moeve Posted July 13, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2007 It depends where you are coming from and how you booked the flight...
ddonalds Posted July 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2007 Check their website, it's very easy to navigate, and they are very clear. It depends on your status with the airline, so check there....
socallisa Posted July 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2007 I flew Air France to Paris from Los Angeles and was allowed 70 lbs.
Moeve Posted July 13, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 13, 2007 Yes but if he / she is only flying in Europe then it is only 20 Kg that is why it is so important to know where they are coming from and how it was booked!
eh2zed Posted July 13, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 13, 2007 Got it inside 3 minutes on their website. Flying to Zone 1 (Europe) it is 23kg per piece X 2 pieces Economy. 32kg per piece X 2 First Class. The website says baggage allowance is on the electronic ticket. We flew AF to Athen from Toronto via CDG in May and this was our allowance and my DW needed it all. Still always best to check with TA or Airline before you go. It does change.

That's why I only said where I was coming from and where I went. I wasn't saying it as a general statement. Sorry if it came across like that. That was not my intention. wtevrfltsurbt Posted July 20, 2007 #8 Share Posted July 20, 2007 Just did AF (coach seats) from Houston to Paris and it was 50lbs-i nter-European was 22lbs. Now I believe that AF has a higher limit for 1st class......................... Hope this helps!
