lovetexas Posted July 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2007 Do people use Camelbacks? Especially the beach days and the ruins I thought it would be nice to have fresh water all day. Also, how is the faucet water to drink? I assume it is sterlized. Another quick question- what kind of packs work best? Can you take a beach towel with you when you leave the ship to go to the beach? Any help would be great Thanks!!
K1200S Posted July 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2007 You can sign out a beach towel per person done as you leave the ship. The faucet water I have found to be fine for drinking. You can bring a camel back. The ship sells bottled water as you leave.
RevSmith Posted July 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2007 The ships water is fine to drink, as a matter of fact probably better for you than most bottled water that is in "Plastic" yuck.
Sue L Posted July 15, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 15, 2007 You can just take the pool towels that are left in your room each night with you. Just make sure you don't lose them. No need to sign any out. When you return if they are wet you can just trade them in for new clean ones by the pool area or leave them on the floor in your stateroom bathroom and your steward will give you new ones. We just bring bottled water and usually on most of our tours additional water is provided.
cb at sea Posted July 15, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 15, 2007 If you want more than 1 pool towel apiece, you will have to sign them out on the pool deck. You can get multiple towels, if you want!
AZjohn Posted July 15, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 15, 2007 Yes my wife and I use camelbacks every port we go to. We ask our room Stewart for a couple of ice water pictures in the morning to fill them up. Enjoy, John
