kimark Posted July 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2007 Will the Pomenade cafe be opened? I read a thread that someone suggested avoiding the overcrowded Windjammer when you board and go to the promenade cafe for pizza and cookies. I have since read that the cafe will not be opened until later in the day. Does anyone know?
hagerpeople Posted July 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2007 Based on the Cruise Compasses posted on cruise dailies it should be open. The compasses from May 6, 2007 and May 13, 2007 both list Cafe Promenade's open hours as "24 Hours" and states that it will be closed from 3:45pm until the Muster Drill is complete. Hope this helps. I may try this myself when I board in September! Heather

cb at sea Posted July 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2007 If you eat a late breakfast prior to boarding, you shouldn't need lunch right away!
kc320 Posted July 18, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 18, 2007 If you eat a late breakfast prior to boarding, you shouldn't need lunch right away! True, but for some reason just the act of stepping foot on a ship causes me to immediatly start searching for food....must be some ancient seafarer instinct........:D
wickerandmore Posted July 18, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 18, 2007 On our June 10th cruise the Cafe Promenade was not open 24 hours. They closed each night at 2:30am, which my 18 yr old son found aggervating since he played basketball until 3-4 each morning.
