mata2635 Posted July 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2007 Any recommendations of a good place for lunch in Hamilton while taking advantage of the NCL program? We'll have my two teenage daughters with us. Many thanks!

travelgirl17 Posted July 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2007 Last year we had lunch at the hog penny tavern, using the voucher. It was a great lunch. There were 2 adults and 3 kids. The place was small, but was able to seat us. You may also want to upgrade to a dinner voucher for $5 more and have a nice dinner in Bermuda. cruiserssandr Posted July 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2007 I don't think that the Hog Penny is part of the Dina A Shore voucher program this year.
jmo1 Posted July 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2007 Last June, we enjoyed a gourmet lunch at the Barracuda Grill in Hamilton(highly recommend it) with $5 NCL Dine Ashore vouchers. Their Bermuda fish chowder has my mouth watering just thinking about it now.
gregandamy Posted July 19, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2007 Has anyone who recently returned used the dine ashore program? I also would love to know which restaurants either in Kings Wharf or Hamilton are included.
Warmer Climes Posted July 20, 2007 #7 Share Posted July 20, 2007 I just got back from Bermuda and I'm sorry I pitched the Dine Ashore brochure. To the best of my memory, only the Bistro in Hamilton is participating and none in the Dockyards. We ate at the Bistro and it was pretty good. I'm hoping someone who kept his brochure will see your post. Barb

Warmer Climes Posted July 20, 2007 #9 Share Posted July 20, 2007 When we were on the ships we got a notice that the Freeport Seafood Restaurant was no longer participating. Some folks we met ate at the Salt Rock Grill and loved it. Barb

Some folks we met ate at the Salt Rock Grill and loved it. Nope. We just ate at the Freeport S.R. Wednesday and it was terrific!! :D They had a special menu for Dining Ashore but there were plenty of offerings and I thought it was a terrific value! We had the seafood chowder and DH had a sandwich and I had the seafood pasta. It was to die for!!!
