Tipping for infants ?

What have you done in the past ?

 

Do you tip as though they are adults ?

 

I have no problem in doing it just wondering if it is common practice.

I tipped for my 1 yr old the same as I tipped for myself. She uses resources just like anybody else and the staff was great with her.

Some lines ask for a full tip while others suggest tipping one-half of the adult tips.

I tipped the same amount for my 15 months old as for me. I think she actually got more attention than I did... especially in the dining room.

How old is the infant? I would tip the regular price for toddlers..but not infants--ones who still need to drink formula or eat thier own food. and not take up space in the dining room. But would tip the cabin steward half the regular amount since there is no bed to change etc etc.

Carnival says that no tip is expected for under 2 yrs.
