nycgirl0618 Posted July 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2007 I am booked for next Aug. 2008 for Venice, Croatia, Santorini Corfu and Turkey. I was looking at prices today and I noticed that going a month later in Sept drops the price by $600 for the cruise alone. I am thinking of changing dates but I need advice. My husband and I are big beach people. Will the weather be warm enough to swim in Croatia and Corfu. I looked at historical weather and it seems to be in the mid-upper 70s. Is the water warm enough? I know its hot in August but I'm from NYC so I'm used to muggy weather. I would love to save $1000 and go in Sept and avoid the August crowds, however my husband will kill me if he can't swim on his vacation.
High C's Posted July 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Of course, who can predict what the weather will be on any given day (certainly the weathermen can't!!), but I can tell you that we were in the Med last Sep (13-25) and the weather was very warm and sunny everywhere we went (Italy, Greece and Turkey). Rare Keith1010 Posted July 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2007 September is a great time to visit the Med, including enjoying the beaches. Keith
