Moorea Sunset Sail on PG?

Has anyone done the Sunset Sail on the Margoullat in Moorea?

We did a sunset sail, but it was on a different boat (this was in 2000, I think it was the Fetia Ura.) If similar, it was very pleasant, great scenery, great sunset, polynesian music...

Yes did this this year in late March. It was a very relaxing low key affair that we enjoyed a great deal.

Scenery at sunset was magnificent.

Some folks on our April cruise were disappointed that the sunset sail went out even though it was so overcast that the sunset wasn't visible.

 

I know some excursions cancel if the weather isn't cooperating, apparently this isn't one of them.

Good point on the lack of sunsets due to weather! We were in the Bahamas for a week in May and only had a great sunset 1 day, due to clouds, not rain!

If the weather holds, this is a great sail.

 

We did one three years ago when on a Windstar ship. It was quite memorable and so very beautiful.

 

Obviously, the lack of a sunset would make a difference.

We did this on our October cruise. The sailboat is lovely and it was the highlight of the day. It was interesting-everyone was very quiet-the boat,the ocean, the scenery seemed to enthrall everyone. It felt like a very private experience.
