Transfer from Dover to Heathrow

I would like to hear how others plan to get from Dover to Heathrow. We are on the Constellation (9/1-9/15). On a different cruise, my husband and I took the train both ways. There are 4 of us traveling together and I was hoping for something less harrowing. Celebrity will not sell us transfers since our flight is at 12:40 (United). The ship is scheduled to dock at 4 am but 'fog' was an issue the last time. Help!! We are part of the 'cruise connection' group. Thanks

I had the same question in reverse. If you "search" under my name, you'll find a lot of very helpful suggestions. The car service called Portcullis seems to be well regarded. And there are some others also. Good luck.
