Krazy Kruizers Posted August 22, 2004 #51 Share Posted August 22, 2004 When we were on the Rotterdam, we had 7004. Did you get to use the huge tub? We couldn't use ours. The water was either broiling when you turned on the cold tap and scalding when you turned on the hot tap. And the water that came out was a rust color. Maintenance looked at it - shrugged their heads and walked away. We ate a lot of lunches there. And we loved the big picture windows to sit in front of while cruising down the Orinoco. That was 16 days of bliss.
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 22, 2004 #52 Share Posted August 22, 2004 Reading all these posts about blue berries, now I have a yen to make some lemon-blueberry bread. This thread could get me into trouble - cooking that is.
sail7seas Posted August 22, 2004 Author #53 Share Posted August 22, 2004 I love lemon blueberry bread. Is yours like a poundcake consistency? One thing I really like in Neptune Lounge is the lemon poundcake in the afternoons.....and the marble. Oh...now I'm hungry for some. (I agree KK those windows in the living room are amazing. I loved sitting on the window seat and watching the water......I used to sit and read there. It was glorious. I used the whirlpool a few times but I had to be cautious as it was soon after my surgery and my doctors warned me to not stay in too long. He gave the okay to enjoy it for a short time but to not linger too long.
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 22, 2004 #54 Share Posted August 22, 2004 No - my lemon blueberry bread is not like a pound cake. Just like bread with blueberries and lemon zest.
