Differences between the Star and the Dawn?

Just wondering if their are any noticeable differences between the Star and the Dawn. We sailed on the Star last year (and really enjoyed it), and for this winter we have the Dawn booked.

thanks for any info

They are sister ships and are almost the same layout. Only some restaurants have different names.

If you can find you way around the Star, then you will be able to on the Dawn

Happy Cruising,

We have been on both ships. As mentioned, they are sister ships with only subtle differences.

The thing we liked the best with both ships was the indoor pool/spa area. For the most part it was a quiet place to relax.

It may or may not be important to you, but the electrical outlets in the public areas are different. The in cabin electrical outlets are the same.

If you're using a laptop, this may impact you if you're wanting to use it in public areas. On the Dawn, you have to use an adapter in most public areas where the Star has more "normal" US outlets.

If you forget an adapter, the Internet Cafe will have standard US outlets on the Dawn.

Have fun; both are great ships.
