CruznTom Posted August 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2007 We will still have an active Eurail pass that includes France when we arrive in Le Vavre Has anyone done this ? The schedule seems easy to Paris, but the return is a fast train to another station and then a local to Le Vavre. Baically, this will be no cost, but I am concerned about getting back to the ship on time (11 pm) if by chance trains are full, as there are no reservations. Rare HeinBloed Posted August 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Do not do it! The surcharge for use the EUROSTAR is 50 GBP if you show your Eurorail-Ticket. Every special on this route is cheaper than 50 GBP! Have a look here: http://www.eurostar.com/UK/us/leisure/travel_information/before_you_go/fares/london_ashford_to_paris.jsp Regards, HeinBloed
Globaliser Posted August 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Do not do it! The surcharge for use the EUROSTAR is 50 GBP if you show your Eurorail-Ticket. What on earth does Eurostar have to do with a Le Havre-Paris trip?

Rare HeinBloed Posted August 3, 2007 #7 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Sorry - my mistake: I got at the same time an e-mail request regarding London - Paris by Eurorail and mixed-up the answers up. Regards, HeinBloed
