What is best wat to use Eurail pass - Le Havre to Paris and back?

We will still have an active Eurail pass that includes France when we arrive in Le Vavre

Has anyone done this ? The schedule seems easy to Paris, but the return is a fast train to another station and then a local to Le Vavre. Baically, this will be no cost, but I am concerned about getting back to the ship on time (11 pm) if by chance trains are full, as there are no reservations.
