Aplmac Posted August 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2007 How much should we expect to pay for a taxi to the beach? There are two of us. Thanks. I rarely (if ever!) catch taxis on the island, but given what I know taxis will want to charge you about 15 U.S.Dollars, each way for the car, whether it's two or four of you in it. There are far too many taxis on this island, so don't take any crap from them. Do not pay more than $20 per direction, it's simply not worth it. Catch the bus instead! or give me a ring!! I just asked The Wife. and She reckons it'll be USD15-20 I say pay them no more than $20, or you definitely give me a ring! I don't live that far away from the Port(nor from Rockley!) On the way BACK to your ship, catching a bus into Bridgetown should be easy, real easy. Once into the city, you'd need to hike it across town, along the pleasant riverside boardwalk that runs in the general direction of where your shipped is berthed. I hope this helps?
