YES

BUT!!

Cocktail hour is for 1 hour only. And it isn't set up to acommondate everyone.

For example" the first cocktail hour is from 5:15 to 6:15. If you have 6:15 for dinner - then you have a full cocktail hour and appetizers before dinner. But if you have 5:45 dinner seating - you get only a few minutes to relax with appetizers. We used to love to go to either the Ocean Bar or the Crow's Nest for cocktails before dinner ( usually had 2). But in May when these new dining times began, we went there the first night only (HAL lost money on us). By the time we ordered cocktails, they were served along with the appetizers, it was after 5:30 - time for us to go to dinner.

WE HAVE THE 8:30 SEATING. SO DO WE GET A COCKTAIL HOUR PRIOR TO THAT TIME, OR IT IS 5:15 - 6:15 FOR EVERYONE? DOES IT MATTER WHICH ACCOMMODATIONS WE HAVE? THANKS!

Yes, you will have cocktail hour with hors d'ouerves served before the 8:30 dinner. With the new dining hours, we select 8:00 and we have plenty of time for a cocktail (or two :) ) and some nibbles before we go to dinner. You will have more than enough time with 8:30 seating.

(They are offering fewer hors d'ouerves than in the past but I think they are for the most part very good. A few old favs seem to have disappeared but they are still serving some very good ones. IMO )
