What is offered at the Promenade Cafe? Is it open 24/7, if not, what are the hours and is this included in the price of the cruise or is it additional cost?

It is offered 24hours. They have cookies, cakes, fruit, pizza and sandwiches. They also have tea, and coffee. We just got off the Explorer on Friday and went there often.

Price is included. Love those shrimp salad sandwiches and coconut cookies. I believe there is also hot chocolate there. Lots of various pastries for breakfast time.

And it is included in the cruise cost; you do not have to pay extra.

The sandwiches & pastry change all the time & it's great. I make way too many stops there. The pizza isn't bad either!

Specialty coffees and ben and jerry's ice cream are extra.

There is also a nice selection of fresh fruit (whole- oranges, bananas, kiwi, apples, etc.), as well as coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate, and water. Wish there was iced tea/lemonade there though.

 

We found it was the best place to stop for a quick bite after a shore excursion or in the evening after the late night show.

 

They usually close for an hour or two but are open until 3 or 4 am and open by 5 or 6 am.

My DW would point out that it's also a 24-hour place for a cup of hot tea. They have a variety of teas out, and hot-water via coffee machines there. Great hang out, good people watching. On Navigator, we could check our photos online (the ones the ship's photogs had taken) at the Promenade Cafe. All we needed was a SeaPass card.

Love the Cafe. That's why we always book cabins on deck 6 on the same end as the cafe!!!!! Just a short run down the steps!!!

Yes, but not 24 hours. There is a full bar, and it closes at 1:30.

 

On the 24-hour Prom. Cafe closing for awhile:

 

They stop making pizza at 3:00am, but they don't close. You can still get sandwiches and cookies and drinks.
