Cachecara Posted August 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2007 I think something silver and strappy would be perfect.:)
ChefPeg Posted August 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2007 I'd go with silver strappy too. It is a very beautiful dress.

KC_fn Posted August 7, 2007 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2007 o my GOSH!!!! Stunning! Silver would be great, but a red strappy sandal might be fun too. But honestly, who's going to be looking at the shoes when you're wearing that dress? :p

BlueHerons Posted August 7, 2007 #8 Share Posted August 7, 2007 I'd go with a jeweled shoe, a muted gold, or a nude.
BlueHerons Posted August 7, 2007 #9 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Like this: or this: or this: They are all Rene Caovilla who does the loveliest jeweled shoes.
RQINFL Posted August 7, 2007 #10 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Those shoes are beautiful, but will ruin the bottom of a long dress.
kittymom65 Posted August 7, 2007 #11 Share Posted August 7, 2007 The dress is gorgeous. I think I would go with something sliver and strappy as well.
BlueHerons Posted August 7, 2007 #12 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Those shoes are beautiful, but will ruin the bottom of a long dress. No they will not. My girlfriend wore a pair with her silk chiffon wedding dress and they never came close to trying to snag. The are Rene Caovilla and made not to snag. RQINFL Posted August 7, 2007 #13 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Makes sense that they would be made that way ~ I know they are fairly pricey. But if you are not in the market for a $1,000 pair of shoes, better to not ruin a $700+ dress.
KLLund Posted August 7, 2007 Author #14 Share Posted August 7, 2007 They are all Rene Caovilla who does the loveliest jeweled shoes. They are indeed stunning .. but fortunately they are way too high a heel for me !!! Otherwise this would be a really pricey outfit!!! Thanks for all the help .. I will be running over to DSW and Nordstroms tomorrow to see what they have in strappy silver :)
