Tahati - Rainy season?

I've always wanted to sail on the PG and hopefully 2008 will be the year. Can anyone tell me when the rainy season is? What's considered the best time to go?

Our northern hemisphere summer is considered best. I've been several times May/June and had good luck. But the seasonal variation is not that great, the climate is fairly uniform. Just more chance of rain or storms from December - April, with higher humidity, at least in the Societies. I've read that the weather fluctuation is different in the Marquesas, for example.
