What Size are the sofabeds in D1/EOS?

I wanted to bring an eggcrate from home for the sofa bed but I don't know how large the sofa bed opens up. We will be on the Explorer in 2 weeks. Thank you!!!

From what I've read you can ask your room steward for one when you get there. I would leave yours at home.

Leave yours at home......they have them onboard. Just ask your room steward when you board - that's what we do, and they certainly make the sofabeds a bit more comfortable.

The beds are fine for children, or a really small adult. 2 regular sized grownups are going to be uncomfortable even with an eggcrate!

Thank you for the replies. The bed is for my 7 year old but I guess he will be ok. I heard that sometimes the egg crates are hard to get.:( :)

We had no problem at all.......she brought us 2 of them to make sure it was comfy. (We only requested one, it was her idea to get two of them for us.)

My son just had an eggcrate on the Explorer two weeks ago. Definitely makes it doable. The bedding is by far better than the sofa.
