yst347 Posted August 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2007 Yes and Yes, Some people do not think the hair driers are powerful enough so they still bring their own. My wife used the ship provided hair drier with no complaint.

My wife used the ship provided hair drier with no complaint. My daughter and I were in a Cat 12 cabin on Conquest in early July, and the cabin hair dryer burned up the first time we turned it on and they didn't have any replacements!! My 16yo daughter was NOT very happy, so you might consider bringing your own, just in case!!:)
duck512 Posted August 13, 2007 #6 Share Posted August 13, 2007 Definitely bring your own dryer!! The dryer in our cabin on the Liberty last Feb. didn't blow very hard but it got very hot.
beckyscott01 Posted August 13, 2007 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2007 Our room was warm and we brought this to our steward's attention twice without much luck.
sabandmom Posted August 15, 2007 #8 Share Posted August 15, 2007 I booked a balcony guarantee on the conquest. Should I be ok with them assigning the cabin? I plan on bringing earplugs just in case for noise. Thanks for the help!

You won't know until your cabin is assigned. But you're on a cruise, so yes, you'll be ok, as long as you're prepared for whatever you end up with.
