It is around 20 to 23 miles. A rather quick trip. You'll see it at the 2nd stop light on the right.

That is from Kona. From Hilo it is 100+ miles.

we did the blue hawaiin out of Waikola - it is about 20 miles and an easy drive - but the traffic in Kona is a killer - so to get back to the ship on time you want to give yourself at least an hour - we rented a car when we were there last week for the week.

helicopter tour is worth it!
